About Mrs. McShane: 

Holly McShane returned to St. Rose last year to realize her dream job of teaching 5th grade. She first started teaching seventh grade at Williston Junior High in Wilmington, North Carolina.

After moving to the Seattle area, Holly taught Middle School at Christ the King School and later at The Villa Academy before moving to Longview in 2004. She taught her own children at St. Rose School when they were in Middle School. After teaching in the CEO Alternative High School at LCC for over ten years, Holly decided to return to St. Rose and live her dream.

She and her husband Frank enjoy visits to and from their city-loving children (Tess in Denver, Riley in Brooklyn) and keep themselves busy with a horse, two donkeys, two dogs, and a cat.

Why did you choose St. Rose?

St. Rose is a caring community that educates the whole child. St. Rose prepared my own children to have the intellect and moral compass to guide them through their higher education to become the wonderful people they are today. I believe in the quality of education at St. Rose and the people that help make it happen.
