About Mr. Salazar:

Luis Salazar has been working in the education field for 5 years. Before pursuing education as a major, he worked as a paraeducator for the Longview School District for two years. He spent one and a half years as a substitute while completing his Master’s Degree. Last year was Mr. Salazar’s first year at St. Rose. He is working on getting his Math and Science endorsements for secondary education as he works his 2nd year as a teacher. Luis is married to Bailey, who is a 4th grade teacher for the Longview School District.

Why did you choose St. Rose?  

     I chose St. Rose because it is a welcoming environment for everyone. I love the fact that the students are challenged academically and are pushed to achieve a quality education. St. Rose and the staff try their best to ensure that students leave their school ready for high school with organization, hard work ethic, accountability, and confidence. The parent engagement is also a great benefit in the students’ learning!
