About Ms. Brown:

Miss Brown has been serving families within our community for several years. She began her time as a daycare provider for a local center while also completing her teaching degree at City University. Following her time at City University, she began teaching 1st grade here at St. Rose School. She lives with her mother and brother, both who are also teachers in the area. Outside of the classroom, Sheelah serves at her church, as a member of their puppet/drama team and serving wherever needed. She loves the magic of Disney and strives to bring this same magic into the classroom. In the words of Sheelah, “ I strive for my students to see that learning is magical.”

Why did you choose St. Rose?

I chose St. Rose because I wanted to work in a place where I am able to tell others about Jesus. I love how the school is very service-minded and providing students opportunities to serve their community. Watching students excited to come to school each day has made coming to work each day enjoyable!
