Reagan Swier, Madeline Nicholson, Hadley Harris
and Chloe Chin show totally different reactions
to the dissecting of cow eyes in Mrs. Collucci's science class.
Science has been very exciting with lots of discovery! In 6th grade we studied the digestive system and food and
nutrition. We invested sugar content in foods and using yeast as an indicator. The 7th grade Life Science
class is studied cell structures and their functions and constructing models of plant and animal cells. My Earth
Science class learned about the properties of matter. In lab we were busy dissecting cow eyes, growing brine shrimp, testing variables of a pendulum, classifying seeds, and growing grass populations. Students were asked to review notes or foldables from lectures in addition to reading the textbook. Homeroom 6th grade reviewed the beginnings of citystates
and how farming began in Mesopotamia and the Fertile Crescent. During religion class, we prepared for the Living Rosary in October. Each day we focus on how to be more organized and successful in study skills.
