Program
St. Rose School offers preschool classes to three and four year olds.
Children meet on Monday through Friday. They must be 3 years old by September 1 to enroll in this class.
The half day program schedule is from 8:30am - 11:30am. The full day program is from 8:30am - 3:00pm.
Curriculum:
The aim of early childhood education is for preschoolers to work and play together. The main emphasis is in building self-esteem and positive social interactions.
The preschool program at St. Rose is child centered and uses developmentally appropriate practices. Each day children are encouraged to experiment and explore the classroom environment and materials. We provide for the child's total development through music, art, science, fine and gross motor development, language skills and social interaction. Religious education for preschoolers includes daily prayers, bible stories and songs.
