At St. Rose School, education is a priority, and school pride is celebrated. We want to build an environment for our students where higher education is part of each child’s goals.

Many of us can recall dinner table conversations about careers, education, college, and goals. There was not a question of whether or not we would go to college; instead the question was where we would go to college. We want to make sure that every St. Rose student has that conversation.

One of the first steps in developing an environment that supports and promotes higher education for all students is to provide a daily visual reminder. We are hanging banners in the gym representing the colleges and universities attended by St. Rose alumni, parents and relatives of the students. The students will have a colorful daily reminder that college is a part of their educational plan. We do not intend to promote one particular college/university.

Currently, we have 13 banners hanging in the gym representing the following colleges/universities: Boise State, Cal State Chico, Harvard, North Carolina, Northwestern, Notre Dame, OSU, Seattle University, USC, UW, UWSP (Univ Wisconsin Stevens Pt), Wisconsin, WSU.

We encourage your participation in helping to “set the stage” for our students by sponsoring a banner. The cost to sponsor a banner is $50. You can go in with a few friends and sponsor one from the college/university of your choice, or donate funds to purchase banners for universities not currently represented.
