DESTINATION IMAGINATION

Destination Imagination is a creative problem-solving program in which students work in teams of five to seven students to solve a given problem.  Problem solutions include script writing, costume and prop designing, and the ability to incorporate required elements into a team's final presentation.  Team members learn to interact and problem-solve with one another.  Meetings take place once a week for approximately 1 1/2 hours beginning in November.  Closer to the competition date, teams may meet more often and for longer periods of time.  The regional competition will be held in late February or early March.  In the past it has been held in Pierce County.
