Third grade
We are working on our writing skills in all subjects: reading, math, social studies, science, and religion. Learning to write four different types of paragraphs using complete descriptive sentences. The students are practicing to self edit and make corrections before conferencing with the teacher for a final copy and becoming more confident in writing.
In math we are learning about understanding time, estimation, multiplication, and problem solving problems that involve reading and understanding what operation to use.
Our third grade team of teachers use the homework binders as a communication tool for assignments and parent notes. |
