Mrs. Hippi teaches on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Mrs. Hoyt teaches on Thursday, and Friday. The children have P.E. on Tuesday and Wednesday. They need to bring a clean T-shirt to change into and wear non-marking tie-up tennis shoes on those days.
Band is on Tuesday. Please make sure your children bring their instruments school on Tuesdays! |

Jennifer Lease and Angelique Hisey are our room mothers this year. Kendra Sprague and Terri Smith have volunteered to be our fundraiser chairwomen.
We had our first fundraiser of the year in October. We sold pizza for lunch when the public schools had inservice on October 10th. We made over $700 with our Haunted Mansion at the Monster Mash!

We will be going to Camp Hamilton this year on May 26-29 for Environmental Education. The children will need good rain gear to take with them. It might be a good idea to check with former students to see if they have rain gear to loan. |

We are currently studying poetry in writing. Be looking for your fifth grader's poetry anthology book, which they will make themselves!
We are also studying the thirteen colonies in Social Studies. Your students will be "Blasting Off" into "Space" (their new world) to begin colonies of their own. Be sure to ask them how their colony is developing! |
