Pastor Message

Letter From Father Tim
It is a joy to have such a fine school within St. Rose parish.  Having a parish school brings an added dimension to life, one filled with the excitement of young lives learning about our world and our faith.

It is an honor to be able to pass on our faith to our children, and it is a special privilege to be able to do this at St. Rose school.  We are able to do this in our religion classes, liturgies, retreats, service opportunities, and times of prayer.  During the course of the school year our children will participate in the school Masses.  Attending and participating in Mass is an important way for our children to grow in their faith.  They receive a tremendous amount of God's grace from his Word and the sacrament of the Eucharist.

Our children seem to excel in this nurturing environment.  Of course, we realize that God is the one who nurtures all of us, but we try our best to do our part to give our children every opportunity to thrive.  We want to help our children grow into responsible and faith filled adults who will contribute to the life of our Church and our communities.  At St. Rose we strive to accomplish this goal for our young people.

St. Rose school has been providing a quality education since 1950.  The parents and parishioners of that era had a vision which has benefited children for generations.  Just as the efforts of those who built the school in 1950 are continuing to help people today, I pray that our efforts may continue this legacy well into the future.  May God grant us success.

In God's grace,
Rev. Tim Ilgen
